ROMANIA: a prayer in Cluj-Napoca
Finally I'm back home in my mum's place in Lublin, Poland. Got off a bus from Lvow in Ukraine three hours ago. It's time to have a shower, wash all the dirty socks and t-shirts and do some blogging...
This photo comes from where my travelling started, Cluj-Napoca, a city situated somewhere in the centre of Romania. Here comes a map too.

glad you're safe. that's a beautiful snap, capturing faith in some minute way.
That scene was really cool, though I felt a bit owkward: people don't like being disturbed when they're praying and elderly ladies especially, they hate being photographed...
But you know, the people there are soooo Religious, and there's loads of young ones comming to the the orthodox churches just for a prayer and in the middle of the week. Amazing!
That kind of custom is extinguishing in Poland right now. I never go to the church except on holiday, to make photos...
Glad someone had already commented, your response added so much more.
Great shot - I love the sepia tone and the light coming from above :)
